ID: Nancy "Nannie" (Lyon) Fairfield's husband, Henry Guest McPike (Gen. 8: John-Walter-William-Skipper-William-David-Martha-Nancy)

Source: unknown

Notes: Henry (standing, on right) is pictured with his father, John Mountain McPike (1795-1876) -- sitting with cane -- and his two brothers, Edmond Hailey McPike (1821-1915, sitting), and William Cowper McPike (1836-1911), standing with his right hand on shoulder of eldest brother. Both of Henry's grandfathers (Captain James McPike and Captain Moses Guest) were soldiers of the revolution under George Washington. Henry was the second son of John Mountain McPike and Lydia Jane Guest. He married thrice. Of interest to Fairfield researchers is his second marriage, to Nancy Lyon. Their marriage ended in divorce, though Nancy "Nannie" Lyon used the more socially delicate moniker of widow for the rest of her life in census data. The brief marriage resulted in one son, Eugene Fairfield McPike.
